OLGA BALLET BANGLES: LE SPECTRE DE LA ROSE

Welcome my Le Spectre de la Rose Bangle from a new OLGA BALLET BANGLES COLLECTION 2018!

The ballet collection was inspired by Léon Bakst’s costume drawings made for the Ballets Russes performances.  Among the abundance of those beautiful works I have chosen six ballets – all choreographed by Michele Fokine – and designed six bangles, each devoted to a certain ballet.   

Le Spectre de la Rose first danced by Tamara Karsavina and Vaslav Nijinsky and afterwards performed by so many! I love this story of the first love, tenderness and hope. I love roses & romance. I love the moment when the hero jumps into the heroine’s window and speaks of love so openly and sincerely – no girl can resist it and everyone dreams of)))

This year Olga Design gets close to our St. Petersburg Winters Project, which aim is to create events drawing on ones appreciated and popular in the past. We start OLGA Ballet Bangles’ Project and looking forward to its new events!
