MUSES AND MASTERPIECES))

March 2 the opening of OLGA Ballet Bangles Collection: tribute to Ballets Russes and The Island book by Yulia Ravvina illustrated by Yulia Fomina exhibitions in Na Torgu  Art Gallery was followed by the art event Beauties of the Silver Age in the wonderful and mysterious atmosphere of Novgorodskaya Pechatnya.

During the event dedicated to the gorgeous and extravagant women who inspired poets, artists and composers of the early 20th century we usually talk about the “literary muses”. But this time, due to my OLGA Ballet Bangles exhibition, we also focused on wonderful dancers of Diaghilev Ballets. Anna Pavlova, Tamara Karsavina and Ida Rubinstein became our heroines. Composers, choreographers, artists, perfumers, designers and even confectioners dedicated them their pieces. And they still do)))

Ida Rubinstein, who was a muse and inspiration for Leon Bakst, Igor Stravinsky, Maurice Ravel and many others, still remains a symbol of style and beauty. My Cléopâtre Bangle is also a tribute to this elegant, exceptional and singular dancer.
